This October, join us at Kando for an intimate evening with Flâneur Wines, one of the Willamette Valley’s most exciting estate producers.
Founded in Carlton, Oregon, Flâneur is built around a simple philosophy: slow down, stay curious, and make time for the good things. Their wines come from two organically dry-farmed estate vineyards and are made with a terroir-driven, minimal-intervention approach designed to let each site speak for itself.
And lately, one of those sites has been getting some well-deserved attention.
Earlier this year, Flâneur’s 2021 Bon Vivant Chardonnay from La Belle Promenade Vineyard took first place among the ten Chardonnays tasted in “The 1976 Redo” — a landmark recreation of the historic Judgment of Paris, fifty years after the original tasting helped put American wine on the world stage.
For this special evening, we’ll explore Flâneur through five wines, from sparkling and Chardonnay to Pinot Meunier and two expressions of Pinot Noir:
NV Brut Sparkling Wine
2024 La Belle Promenade Chardonnay
2024 Pinot Meunier
2021 Rivoli Pinot Noir
2019 Bon Vivant Pinot Noir
The Flâneur team will be with us to pour, talk about the vineyards and winemaking, and share what makes La Belle Promenade such a distinctive place in the Willamette Valley.
Come taste, linger, ask questions, and discover a producer we think is worth knowing.
