Ultramarine Wines is a high-end, "cult" sparkling wine producer based in Petaluma, California. Founded in 2008 by winemaker Michael Cruse, it is famous for being the first California sparkling wine to achieve a level of prestige and demand similar to elite grower Champagnes.
Join me for a tasting of truly special, cult-status sparkling wines from California, drawn from a personal collection I’ve been building for more than fifteen years. We’ll explore a range of vintages from 2012 through 2019, including both Blanc de Blancs and rosé expressions.
